It-tabelli
komparattivi maħruġa mill-MFSA jinkludu informazzjoni dwar prezzijiet u
tariffi għal numru ta' prodotti u servizzi li joffru regolarment il-banek.
Eventwalment, l-MFSA se tippubblika wkoll tabelli komparattivi għal
prodotti u servizzi ta’ l-assikurazzjoni u l-investiment.
Il-pubblikazzjoni ta' dawn it-tabelli tagħmel parti
mill-funzjoni ta' l-Awtorità li tippromovi l-interessi ġenerali u
l-aspettativi leġittimi tal-konsumaturi tas-servizzi finanzjarji u li
tippromovi prattiċi ta' kompetizzjoni ġusta u għażla tal-konsumatur
għas-servizzi finanzjarji (s.4 ta' l-Att dwar l-Awtorità għas-Servizzi
Finanzjarji).
It-tabelli mhumiex intiżi biex jirrikmandawlek liema
prodotti finanzjarji inti għandu tixtri. Għalhekk, qatt m’għandek toqgħod
biss fuq it-tabelli biex tixtri prodott jew servizz.
It-tabelli jagħtu pożizzjoni fattwali u ma jimplikawx xi approvazzjoni jew
tħaddin uffiċjali ta’ xi wieħed mill-ħlasijiet jew spejjeż imsemmijin.
Jekk ma tistax tifhem kif jaħdem il-prodott li qed tfittex,
jew mintiex żgur jekk hux tajjeb għalik jew le, itlob parir qabel ma
tirreferi għat-tabelli.

The MFSA’s comparative tables include information about
tariffs and charges of a number of commonly- used products and services
provided by banks. Eventually, the MFSA will also publish comparative
tables for insurance and investment products and services.
The publication of these tables is in line with the Authority’s
function to promote the general interests and legitimate expectations of
consumers of financial services, and to promote fair competition practices
and consumer choice in financial services (s4 of the MFSA Act) .
The tables will not recommend
which financial product you should buy. Never buy a product or service
solely on the basis of what you see in the tables.
The tables will provide a factual
position and do not imply any official approval or endorsement of any of
the tariffs or charges mentioned.
