Reuben Vella – Head, Information Technology


In his position within the Information Technology Department, Mr Vella oversees pertinent ICT areas that include governance and planning, infrastructure and service management, information systems, and security.

Mr Vella represents the MFSA on committees and expert working groups, including the Information Technology Committee of the European Central Bank.

Reuben Vella has been occupying diverse positions at the MFSA for the past 14 years. Prior to joining the MFSA, Reuben worked for 5 years at a software house and another 5 years at an IT vendor.

Mr Vella graduated from Sheffield-Hallam University with Master of Science in Networking Technologies and Management, London-Metropolitan University with Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems Degree, NCC Education Diplomas, and City and Guilds Qualifications.
