About Communications

The Communications function is responsible for handling the internal and external communications within the Authority. The section handles information issued to license holders and public relations matters. It is also responsible for the preparation of corporate publications and for the development and maintenance of the Authority’s internet and intranet sites.

The Role

The Digital Officer in Grade 8 will be involved in the following:

Technical duties:

  • Implementing the digital plan for marketing campaigns through website updates, email marketing, social media including video related channels and online advertising.
  • Assist with the production of digital material - video, photography and artwork
  • Ensuring that website content is optimised, correct, accessible, user friendly and up to date
  • Designing, sending and reporting of mail shots. Maintaining dbase based on mailshot reports

Interpersonal duties:

  • To handle communications with external parties as required
  • Communicate effectively with other teams internally

Other duties:

To handle any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit and as dependent on the exigencies of the Communications Unit and the Authority.

About You

We are looking for candidates with a Degree qualification in Business, Management or in a related discipline. Digital Marketing Diploma together with an ECDL certification or an equivalent proof of computer literacy would be an asset.
